Secure industrial equipment consignments for North Toronto Auction across Toronto and surrounding areas through proactive sales and market development. The role reports to the Managing Director.
This Industrial Territory Manager position focuses on filling the auction yard before sale dates and expanding customer networks. You will prospect through networking, cold calling, supplied advertising, direct mailing, and other techniques. You will also gather market intelligence, plan territory growth, and research potential customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Fill the auction yard ahead of each sale date
Build relationships with industrial companies and decision-makers
Grow territory business through established industry contacts
Gather market intelligence and manage consignment strategies
Present research on potential customer conversions
Requirements:
Proven sales experience within the industrial sector
Established industrial customer base and relevant contacts
Experience in auctions, construction, agriculture, or heavy equipment
Strong negotiation and business presentation abilities
Basic computer application proficiency and valid driver's licence
Use industrial market knowledge, customer development, and consignment expertise to expand North Toronto Auction's auction pipeline.
