Shape EA SPORTS FC Ultimate Team through systems design, player progression, and cross-functional collaboration in Vancouver, British Columbia.
This Game Designer role focuses on the franchise’s game modes and progression systems, supporting immersive experiences for millions of players worldwide. Reporting to the Principal Designer, you will work with product owners, engineers, animators, production, and fellow designers. You will communicate complex concepts, guide feature direction, and help align design quality with Ultimate Team’s vision and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Design deep, engaging game modes and systems
Set standards for creative, precise design
Partner with production on scope and priorities
Collaborate on franchise vision and strategy
Mentor peers and less experienced designers
Requirements:
Five or more years designing AAA systems
Experience shipping complex progression systems
Full ownership of major design systems
Cross-disciplinary gameplay delivery experience
Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences
Use systems expertise, collaboration, and communication to help define the future of EA SPORTS FC Ultimate Team.
