Senior Service Parts Demand Planner
Olympus Corporation
Lead demand forecasting and inventory optimization for Olympus Canada’s Repair Center in Richmond Hill, Ontario, with a hybrid workplace model.
As Senior Demand Planner, Service Parts, you will independently manage planning from forecasting through replenishment and fulfillment support. Your work includes inventory management, supplier coordination, shortage mitigation, and service parts availability. You will partner with Service, Procurement, Engineering, Logistics, Finance, and Global Supply Chain teams, while supporting Latin America Division fulfillment activities. The position balances strategic planning with hands-on operational execution across multiple sites and time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
Own service parts forecasts using consumption, repairs, lifecycle, and business inputs
Maintain safety stocks, replenishment parameters, inventory policies, and service targets
Coordinate suppliers and Procurement to ensure material availability
Manage shortages, backorders, recovery plans, prioritization, and allocations
Develop dashboards, analytics, governance, and planning improvements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, analytics, or related field
Five to seven-plus years in demand, inventory, or service parts planning
Knowledge of forecasting, replenishment, safety stock, and S&OP or IBP
Advanced SAP and Microsoft Excel skills
Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
Bring independent planning leadership, supply chain expertise, and inventory discipline to Olympus service parts operations in Richmond Hill.
