Substation Transmission Project Manager
ENMAX
Lead substations and transmission projects at ENMAX from Calgary’s hybrid workplace, using project management and power utility experience. Deliver infrastructure customers rely on.
As Project Manager, Substations and Transmission, you will execute Power Delivery capital plan projects and programs. Your work will coordinate technical teams, business partners and customers across initiation, design, construction, commissioning and close-out. Ownership includes safety, scope, cost, schedule, quality and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute projects within defined capital plan constraints and requirements
Report financial forecasts, variances, schedules, safety, quality and risks
Develop execution strategies and maintain documented execution plans
Resolve cross-functional issues and escalate when necessary
Manage Maximo statuses and project procurement processes
Requirements:
Minimum five years of progressive project engineering or management experience
Five to ten years with a power utility preferred
Engineering, Commerce or similar degree required
Strong skills with Outlook, Word, Excel, Primavera and Maximo
PMP designation or commitment to obtain it promptly
Bring power utility project management, forecasting and stakeholder communication skills to ENMAX’s substations and transmission portfolio.
