Intermediate Environmental Scientist Mount Pearl

Environmental assessment and remediation expertise define this intermediate opportunity at GHD’s Mount Pearl office, with hybrid work requiring three office days weekly.
As an Intermediate Environmental Professional, you will support multidisciplinary projects across North America, including a major local megaproject. Your work covers Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments, contaminated site investigations, monitoring, and risk management. You will work under senior technical practitioners and project managers.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct environmental site assessments and contaminated site investigations
Collect and interpret soil, groundwater, sediment, and water data
Develop remediation solutions and risk management measures
Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and client recommendations
Support project planning, safety, quality, and reporting requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level
Five or more years conducting Phase I, II, and III assessments
Experience managing environmental and engineering data
Ability to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
Proficiency with environmental and engineering tools and software
Apply environmental assessment, data interpretation, and remediation skills while supporting GHD projects from its Mount Pearl office.
