In this critical cooking role, you will prepare meals based on strict dietary guidelines and recipes, ensuring satisfaction and quality. You will also be responsible for monitoring food supplies and assisting in new team member training. Your contributions will enhance the overall dining experience for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up equipment and supplies for food preparation
• Prepare meals and snacks per provided recipes
• Ensure compliance with prescribed diets and portion sizes
• Monitor quality of food supplies and report issues
• Assist in training new team members as needed
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 education required
• Valid Safe Food Handling Certificate or Smart Serve
• Experience in institutional or hospitality cooking
• Positive attitude toward team goals
• Pass Vulnerable Sector and Criminal Records Checks
