Senior Mechanical Engineering Supervisor

Supervise engineering delivery using advanced SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and PDM/PLM knowledge for OSI marine navigation and bridge systems.
This senior mechanical engineering supervisor leads an assigned team of mechanical engineers and CAD designers. You coordinate priorities with the Mechanical Design Manager, monitor progress, and report team status. The position combines technical direction, design approval authority where delegated, staff administration, and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:
Assign priorities and maintain team schedules
Provide technical direction on mechanical design and CAD
Check designs and drawings before release
Ensure standards, PDM/PLM, ECR/ECO, and ISO procedures
Chair meetings and complete staff administration
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Seven-plus years designing mechanical systems
Two-plus years as team or technical lead
Advanced SolidWorks; AutoCAD and PDM/PLM familiarity
Strong planning, communication, and mentoring skills
Use engineering supervision, CAD review, and planning skills to guide OSI’s mechanical design team and delivery priorities.
