Longlac Locum Family Physician

Serve Longlac as a Locum Family Physician using comprehensive primary care and interdisciplinary collaboration in a bilingual community.
NorWest Community Health Centres seeks a temporary Family Physician for a six-month locum at its Longlac site. You will provide patient-centred care to clients and families through health promotion, harm reduction, education, disease prevention, and client empowerment. The model supports longer appointments and lower patient volumes.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive primary care to clients and families
Deliver patient-centred care through longer appointment times
Support health promotion and disease prevention
Practise harm reduction and client empowerment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members
Requirements:

Medical degree and Family Medicine residency from recognized university
Current CPSO license and CMPA membership
Commitment to northern practice and community-based health care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle access
