Lead the shop operations as a full-time Shop Manager with Applied® in Edmonton, Alberta. You will enhance customer service, safety, quality, and overall operational management.
Applied Industrial Technologies seeks a Shop Manager to execute strategic direction and elevate operational efficiency. You will oversee daily shop activities, promote safety programs, and uphold quality standards. This role demands leadership and the ability to assess and improve shop processes while maintaining strong communication with both employees and management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop effective day-to-day shop operations
• Actively promote and lead safety initiatives
• Monitor and enhance shop Quality System
• Conduct regular production and safety meetings
• Create and approve repair and fabrication proposals
Requirements:
• 5-7 years in a shop setting, preferably in management
• Proficient in work order management systems
• Strong knowledge of Applied’s product offerings
• Self-motivated with excellent mentorship skills
• Well organized with attention to detail
