Senior Satellite TT&C Systems Engineer

Design TT&C/PDT subsystems for MDA Space satellites using systems engineering, RF analysis, and verification expertise. Support reliable command delivery and telemetry across missions.
MDA Space seeks a System Engineer for current and next-generation remote sensing and communications satellites. You will define architectures, manage requirements, and coordinate spacecraft, ground-segment, and mission-operations interfaces. The work spans design, integration, verification, and operational support throughout the satellite lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Define TT&C/PDT functional architectures and interface requirements
Lead hardware and software subsystem design activities
Perform link-budget analysis and RF simulations
Develop verification plans, procedures, and matrices
Support launch, early-orbit, and contingency operations
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in electrical, aerospace, or related engineering
15+ years designing TT&C/PDT systems on LEO, MEO, or GEO platforms
Knowledge of CCSDS, ECSS, PUS, and ITU standards
Proficiency with S-band, X-band, and Ka-band modem architecture
Reliability Status clearance and Controlled Goods Program assessment
