Power Line Construction Estimator

Estimate powerline construction projects for Ledcor using take-offs, cost analysis, and bid reviews in flexible home or office-based conditions.
This Estimator prepares utility project estimates from bids, quotations, drawings, specifications, and construction documents. The position requires powerline estimating experience, strong computer skills, and collaboration with operations, suppliers, subcontractors, and Utilities estimating teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare work take-offs and utility project estimates
Integrate drawing requirements and terms into bids
Solicit subcontractor and supplier quotations
Develop direct and indirect cost estimates
Lead estimate reviews and bid clarifications
Requirements:

Five-plus years estimating powerline construction projects
Ten-plus years of construction industry experience
Experience with Microsoft Office and estimating software
Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, costs, and budgets
Ability to assess contractual risks and recommend mitigation
