Environmental Health Safety Manager

Lead environmental health and safety at Greenfield Global’s Johnstown, Ontario plant through compliance monitoring, risk assessment, and field investigations.
This Environmental Health and Safety Manager leads the EH&S function within the facility leadership team. The position directs support across all levels, assesses compliance, and ensures testing occurs. Responsibilities include controlling pollutants in air, water, and soil while aligning plant programs with corporate and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management system registration
Oversee internal and external EH&S system audits
Coordinate environmental, health, and safety regulatory compliance
Conduct root cause analyses and process improvement events
Provide safety orientation and training across the facility
Requirements:
Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in relevant disciplines
Training in the Occupational Health and Safety Act
Knowledge of environmental regulations and procedures
Industrial plant experience is desired
CRSP designation is preferred
