As a member of the Float Pool, this role requires delivering patient-centered nursing care across multiple units. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be involved in assessments, care implementation, and collaborative patient advocacy. Engage with interdisciplinary teams and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures for high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide safe nursing care as per care plans
• Conduct assessments and monitor patient symptoms
• Assist in patient transfers and admissions
• Administer medications and monitor effects
• Support staff orientation and training
Requirements:
• LPN registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives
• Current CPR certification and nursing experience
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Physical capability to perform nursing duties
