Within Enterprise Strategy and Corporate Development, you will support corporate strategies, strategic initiatives, and transactions. The team evaluates acquisitions, divestitures, partnerships, joint ventures, and organic growth opportunities. You will also support CIBC’s direct equity and fund investment portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:

Support corporate and business strategy development
Prepare presentations for executive leadership and the Board
Build financial models and perform valuation analysis
Research markets, industries, clients, and regulatory developments
Assist transaction due diligence and project management
Requirements:

Degree in finance, business, accounting, or related field
One or more years of relevant experience
Corporate development, consulting, banking, or valuation experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Professional designations such as CPA or CFA preferred
Bring financial analysis, research, valuation, and presentation skills to CIBC’s enterprise strategy and corporate development team in Toronto.
