Build agentic engineering workflows in Toronto while modernizing production software across backend systems, APIs, and AI components.
As an Agentic Engineer, you will contribute to a significant existing-platform and backend architecture rebuild. You will work extensively with Claude Code, engineering harnesses, AWS-based infrastructure, and large-scale data pipelines. The work spans front-end, back-end, data, pipelines, integrations, and AI components according to specialization.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and modernize complex production software
Design and implement agentic engineering workflows
Configure harnesses for reliable AI-agent software workflows
Build and support large-scale data pipelines
Communicate technical decisions, trade-offs, and risks clearly
Requirements:
Experience working with Claude Code extensively
Experience with AWS-based infrastructure
Ability to design APIs, services, and integrations
Ability to translate ambiguous problems into working software
Ability to work directly with client engineers and stakeholders
