As Senior Track Designer – Team Leader, you will lead engineering assignments across Western Canada. Your work combines track design, design coordination, team leadership, and project delivery. You will support heavy rail, commuter rail, freight rail, and transit infrastructure projects while collaborating with GHD’s global network.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead track design assignments from concept through construction
Coordinate interfaces with multidisciplinary engineering disciplines
Mentor designers and engineers through technical guidance
Review drawings, calculations, specifications, and design deliverables
Support project planning, schedules, resources, and delivery
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer designation in British Columbia or Alberta
15+ years of relevant rail and transit design experience
Strong track geometry and track design knowledge
Proficiency with Bentley OpenRail Designer or related platforms
