WSP is seeking an Occupational Hygiene Technician to join its dynamic team. Engage in substantial fieldwork (90%) while also helping manage client health and safety needs. You will apply your technical skills in conducting assessments, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct onsite assessments and hazardous materials evaluations
• Prepare and calibrate sampling and monitoring equipment
• Analyze data and prepare clear, accurate reports
• Supervise asbestos abatement activities and safety protocols
• Liaise with clients to exceed health and hygiene expectations
Requirements:
• Relevant education in Environmental Technology or similar field
• Experience in occupational hygiene or hazardous materials is a plus
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license, with reliable transportation
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Willingness to work flexible hours based on client needs
