Generator Service Technician Manager
TPGS
Lead generator service technicians through coaching, customer service, and operational coordination in a field-based management role. Travel and after-hours on-call participation are required.
Reporting to the Branch Service Manager, the Field Service Manager provides leadership and guidance to technicians. The position combines service sales, workforce coordination, and customer satisfaction. Success requires managing productivity, service metrics, parts activity, safety, and employee development.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead technicians toward sales revenue and income forecasts
Complete ride-alongs with technical and procedural coaching
Coordinate dispatch, billable time, job details, and technician skills
Resolve customer complaints and disputes through negotiation
Manage timecards, reviews, recruiting, training, and development
Requirements:
Five or more years of generator service technician experience
Strong leadership, mentoring, coaching, and team-building skills
Excellent customer service, communication, and negotiation skills
Microsoft Office and computer proficiency
Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
