Mining Corporate Finance Manager

Turn mining performance and market analysis into corporate financial recommendations for Teck’s Vancouver office, with hybrid work and executive exposure.
As Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, you will interpret operational and financial metrics to inform Teck’s investment decisions. The role supports strategic objectives through financial modeling, project economics, and shareholder-return insights. You will prepare recommendations for the Executive Leadership Team, senior leadership, and Investment Committee.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor performance metrics and identify value drivers
Conduct industry, commodity, and market analysis
Assess investment returns and challenge underlying assumptions
Align investment decisions with strategy and financial objectives
Maintain Finance Master Data for corporate planning
Requirements:
Ten or more years of relevant experience or transferable skills
Professional designation such as CFA, CPA, P.Eng., or equivalent
Strong understanding of mining operations and industry drivers
Ability to translate complex data into recommendations
Experience presenting insights to executives and Boards
Use mining knowledge, market analysis, and financial modeling to guide Teck’s corporate investments and long-term value creation.
