Senior Construction Estimator GO Transit
Ledcor Group
Lead complex construction estimating for Ledcor in Oshawa, Ontario, using quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and bid strategy. This site-based role supports major GO Transit infrastructure.
As Senior Estimator, you will oversee estimating activities from conceptual budgeting through competitive tender submission. The position covers detailed cost estimates, subcontractor procurement, bid packages, and proposal development. You will also guide junior estimators and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead comprehensive estimate packages and competitive bid submissions
Develop conceptual budgets, cost studies, and detailed estimates
Review drawings, specifications, terms, and bid documents
Analyze RFIs and establish bidding strategies
Evaluate subcontractor submissions and recommend project awards
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction-related discipline
Minimum 10 years of estimating or construction experience
Experience with complex multidisciplinary infrastructure projects
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Bring senior estimating leadership, construction cost expertise, and bid management experience to Ledcor's GO Transit infrastructure project.
