The Ministry of Treasury Board and Finance seeks a Senior Manager reporting to the Director, Financing. Key Responsibilities:

Lead a small team of capital markets professionals
Oversee trading desk activities and execute transactions
Develop debt issuance and derivative strategies
Evaluate and execute domestic and international borrowing opportunities
Monitor debt portfolio performance and risk exposures
Requirements:

University graduation in a related field such as Finance
Six years of progressively responsible experience
Knowledge of short-term debt issuance and liquidity management
Understanding of debt management processes and portfolio constraints
Comprehensive knowledge of derivatives
Apply capital markets leadership, trading expertise, and derivatives knowledge to support Alberta’s financing and debt management activities.
