Strategic FP&A Finance Director

Drive strategic FP&A at Other.™, combining forecasting, commercial analysis, and finance technology in a flexible hybrid environment. Partner with the CFO as the company integrates Planning and Performance.
As Director of Finance, you will connect day-to-day financial precision with executive advisory across a privately owned Toronto-based team. You will lead consolidated budgeting, multi-year forecasting, capital allocation, and scenario modeling for new business, US expansion, and service lines. The position also oversees finance systems, automation, and operational controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with the CFO on budgets and multi-year forecasts
Build models for expansion, new business, and service lines
Evaluate and optimize the finance technology stack
Automate workflows and reduce manual reporting errors
Manage fractional Controller and Bookkeeper resources
Requirements:
Eight-plus years of progressive finance and accounting experience
Leadership experience across finance operations
Agency experience with profitability and client retainers preferred
Knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and cash flow modeling
Exceptional collaboration across executive leadership teams
Combine FP&A leadership, financial systems expertise, and commercial insight to build Other.™'s integrated finance function.
