Northern Health is seeking a dedicated Mental Health & Addictions Clinician to work primarily with First Nations communities. This role involves direct psychosocial care, treatment coordination, and partnership with multidisciplinary teams. You'll deliver outreach services, care planning, and crisis response while supporting client self-management and promoting mental wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients and families
• Develop care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide crisis intervention and community outreach
• Facilitate client education and advocacy initiatives
• Coordinate linkage to specialized mental health resources
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Clinical Counselling
• Two years of relevant experience in mental health
• Knowledge of First Nations cultural practices and protocols
• Valid BC Driver's License with travel flexibility
• Eligibility for registration with relevant professional association
