Senior Defence Capture Director

Lead high-value defence captures at 49North, applying capture management and commercial acumen to opportunities exceeding $100 million. This is a Canadian defence role.
As Capture Director, you will establish 49North’s enterprise capture capability for complex aerospace and defence pursuits. The work combines governance, win strategy, deal architecture, and technically compliant solution development. You will collaborate with Business Development, Engineering, and business leads while briefing Executive Leadership on pursuit status, financial risk, and win probability.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead strategic capture management for high-value opportunities
Establish capture teams, governance models, and gate controls
Develop win themes, competitor strategies, and value propositions
Architect deal structures and Price to Win models
Support negotiations and program execution handoffs
Requirements:
15+ years in aerospace or defence sectors
5+ years in senior defence management or capture roles
Engineering degree or equivalent technical or business education
Five years of RCAF fighter aircraft training or operations
Strong analytical, communication, and commercial skills
Bring senior capture leadership, defence experience, and strategic commercial judgment to 49North’s mission-critical C4ISR pursuits.
