Senior DeltaV Control Room Operator

Operate DeltaV DCS systems for AltaGas REEF in Prince Rupert, supporting LPG terminal commissioning and 24/7 operations from site.
As a Panel Control Operator, you will support commissioning, startup, ready-for-operations, and steady-state activities. You will manage propane and butane movements through chilling, storage, and marine vessel loading. The role combines control room leadership, safety, procedures, and terminal coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate DeltaV DCS and monitor facility conditions
Support commissioning and startup in field and control room
Develop procedures, lock-out/tag-out packages, and operational plans
Lead incident investigations, corrective actions, and improvement
Provide operational leadership to Plant and Rail Operators
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Five-plus years in gas plant or terminal operations
Two years of control room experience preferred with DeltaV
4th Class Power Engineering certification
Experience with facility startup and commissioning
Apply control room leadership, DeltaV expertise, and terminal operations experience to AltaGas REEF’s Prince Rupert facility.
