Lead enterprise architecture for Camis’s reservation platform, applying scalability and security expertise to technology trusted by 1,300 North American agencies.
This Principal Architect role sets direction across Camis’s Parks & Recreation software platform. You will partner with the CTO, Product, and engineering leadership to establish standards for reliability, observability, performance, security, and cost optimization. Your guidance will support millions of annual reservations and transactions.
Key Responsibilities:

Establish enterprise engineering and system design standards
Facilitate architecture reviews and technical decision forums
Produce solution designs, reference architectures, and guidance
Review critical implementations and platform changes
Translate operational challenges into architectural roadmap initiatives
Requirements:

10+ years of progressive software engineering experience
5+ years formal architecture leadership experience
Working command of Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience
Use enterprise architecture, platform standards, and operational insight to guide Camis’s large-scale reservation systems.
