Bring advanced mechanical estimating expertise to Accenture Construct’s office-based Senior Mechanical Estimator position. Shape costs for major infrastructure programs.
This senior position requires comprehensive estimating experience across large, multi-faceted projects. You will prepare estimates from feasibility through definitive stages, covering HVAC, plumbing, controls, utilities, and other mechanical systems. Your analysis supports budgets, schedules, cash flows, tender decisions, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare estimates across feasibility, design, budget, control, and final stages
Estimate HVAC, plumbing, ventilation, boilers, utilities, and fire protection systems
Prepare quantity surveys, payment breakdowns, and estimate basis documents
Analyze contractor pricing, tender comparisons, variances, and post-bid results
Maintain construction cost data and provide information to project teams
Requirements:
Minimum ten years in large engineering, contracting, or cost consulting firms
Hands-on experience preparing estimates from feasibility studies through definitive estimates
Post-secondary engineering technology diploma, degree, or equivalent experience
Professional certification with OACETT, CIQS, AACE International, PMI, or relevant associations
Advanced Microsoft Office and expert general estimating systems knowledge
