Senior Generative AI Solutions Engineer

Design Generative AI and machine learning solutions in Toronto while connecting business stakeholders with Celestica’s technical AI team.
As a Senior AI Engineer, you will scope use cases, define technical requirements, and architect production-ready solutions. Your work spans LLMs, RAG patterns, vector databases, Python, and cloud AI services. You will collaborate with the Data Center of Excellence to support operational efficiency across Celestica.
Key Responsibilities:
Elicit technical requirements through stakeholder workshops and deep dives
Define model architectures, feasibility, and success metrics
Design vector database ingestion pipelines for RAG
Develop prompts and orchestration workflows using AI frameworks
Implement MLOps deployment and production monitoring practices
Requirements:
11+ years in information technology, software engineering, or data science
3–5 years focused on AI/ML engineering or architecture
Advanced Python proficiency with relevant machine learning libraries
Experience with Azure AI Studio, AWS Bedrock, or Google Vertex AI
Knowledge of responsible AI, security, SQL, and data modeling
