Environmental Services Maintenance Assistant

Perform minor repairs and maintenance at AgeCare South Terrace in Edmonton, supporting a comfortable environment for residents in long-term care.
As an Environmental Services Assistant, you will execute routine repairs and minor maintenance operations. Your work includes basic plumbing, patching, painting, caulking, cleaning, and outdoor area maintenance. The position supports AgeCare’s person-centered environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Repair doors, locks, window screens, and blinds
Replace light bulbs, sockets, and switches
Unclog drains and fix leaking faucets and toilets
Patch, paint, and caulk assigned areas
Clean interiors and maintain outdoor areas
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to follow oral and written English instructions
Knowledge of Joint Occupational Health and Safety regulations
Knowledge aligned with WCB and CCAL Act requirements
Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
Support AgeCare residents through reliable maintenance, plumbing, cleaning, and outdoor upkeep at South Terrace in Edmonton.
