Retail Operations Assistant Store Manager

Drive retail operations, inventory accuracy, and visual merchandising as an Assistant Store Manager at Lids. Support consistent store execution every shift.
This Assistant Store Manager helps maintain a safe, organized, and productive Lids store. Responsibilities include executing company directives, managing cash, supporting inventory audits, maintaining technology, and arranging backroom product. You also assist with schedules, staffing, training, and progressive discipline when the Store Manager is absent. The store features officially licensed sports headwear and apparel, plus in-store embroidery through Lids Custom.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute operations directives, promotions, and company initiatives
Maintain store technology, equipment, facilities, supplies, and services
Manage cash openings, closings, counterfeit protection, and bank drops
Prepare for inventory audits and support inventory accuracy
Organize backroom product and supplies for efficient operations
Requirements:
Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with others
Ability to work independently without supervision
Ability to frequently walk and constantly stand during shifts
Ability to occasionally climb ladders and work overhead
Bring operational discipline, inventory control, and clear communication to Lids as an Assistant Store Manager.
