Join the Trust Machine Learning team at Remitly as an Embedded Data Scientist. You'll leverage data to prevent fraud and enhance customer trust in a hybrid work model.
In this role, you will focus on analyzing fraud trends and improving automated fraud prevention outcomes. Your expertise will help assess risk decision policies, balancing customer impact with operational efficiency. You will partner closely with machine learning engineers to ensure that features are effectively integrated into production systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Discover and deliver new fraud signals to improve detection
• Manage risk decision policies for automated fraud prevention
• Design metrics and dashboards for fraud model efficacy
• Conduct A/B experiments to assess policy impacts
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize integrated features
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in SQL and Python or R
• Proficient in dashboard creation using Tableau or Power BI
• Experience running experiments to guide strategy
• Degree in data science, statistics, or equivalent
