Sun Peaks Resort seeks Line Cooks with culinary experience and Food Safe Level 1 certification for an onsite seasonal position. Prepare quality food across assigned kitchen stations.
This Line Cook role supports three kitchens serving local, hotel, and business guests. You will clean, prepare, and cook planned menus while developing culinary experience. The position suits candidates working toward culinary careers or Red Seal Certification.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and deliver food on assigned kitchen stations
Follow standard recipes and accurate portion controls
Inspect products and maintain food quality and quantity
Complete station opening, closing, cleaning, and cooling records
Communicate shortages and prepare stations before food service
Requirements:

One to two years of previous culinary experience
Hotel or resort culinary experience preferred
Food Safe Level 1 certification
Understanding of kitchen operations and health safety standards
Ability to handle loads up to 35 kilograms
Bring station cooking, food safety, and culinary preparation skills to Sun Peaks Resort’s seasonal kitchen operations.
