Assistant Store Manager Retail Leadership

Lead retail operations with Columbia Sportswear Canada as an Assistant Store Manager, using customer service and team leadership skills daily.
This Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager across store operations, sales, profitability, and customer experience. You will provide direction to supervisors and associates while helping cultivate a collaborative team environment. The position also supports interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction to supervisors and associates
Execute plans improving employee productivity and performance
Support staff interviewing, hiring, training, and coaching
Maintain inventory through replenishment, organization, and shrink control
Develop action plans addressing sales, safety, and personnel development
Requirements:
Five or more years of relevant experience
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Point of Sales and computerized systems experience
Judgment resolving day-to-day technical and operational problems
Effective communication with leadership, associates, and consumers
Bring retail leadership, operational judgment, and customer service focus to Columbia Sportswear Canada’s store leadership team.
