Building Maintenance Relief Worker

Support Deninu Health Centre facilities as a Relief Janitor with building-maintenance experience and knowledge of equipment, PPE, and WHMIS. Emergency work may be required.
The Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority offers this relief assignment in Fort Resolution. Reporting to the Nurse in Charge, you will maintain cleanliness, transport patients and staff, complete deliveries, collect supplies, and care for grounds. Familiarity with electrical, water, sewage, and heating systems is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain health-centre cleanliness and tidiness
Operate and use health-centre equipment appropriately
Transport patients and staff during required assignments
Pick up supplies from local vendors
Maintain building and grounds through assigned tasks
Requirements:
Live within 25 kilometres of Fort Resolution
Combine training and experience in building maintenance
Know facility systems including electrical, water, and heating
Understand infection prevention and control standards
Class 5 Driver's Licence would be an asset
Use building-maintenance, equipment, and infection-control knowledge to keep Deninu Health Centre facilities operational and orderly.
