Englehart Animal Hospital seeks a Registered Veterinary Technician skilled in patient care, diagnostics, and surgical support in Englehart, Ontario.
This RVT supports veterinarians with medical, surgical, and dental procedures in a collaborative animal hospital. The position combines compassionate client service with patient preparation, diagnostic equipment, and medication monitoring. It also includes helping manage practice operations, compliance, and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Build positive relationships with clients and their pets
Assist veterinarians during medical, surgical, and dental procedures
Use diagnostic equipment appropriately during patient care
Prepare patients, instruments, and equipment for surgery
Administer and monitor medicines under veterinary direction
Requirements:
Pass the VTNE or be eligible to write it
Good standing with the provincial regulatory association
Complete an accredited Canadian veterinary technology diploma
Support practice management, compliance, procedures, and protocols
Provide respectful, compassionate, exceptional customer service
