Deliver mail across Goderich and nearby communities using safe driving, organized route knowledge, and dependable service. This temporary, on-call relief assignment requires English.
Canada Post is recruiting one Rural and Suburban Mail Carrier for delivery work in Goderich, Ontario. You will sort, collect, and deliver mail safely and on time while maintaining knowledge of local roads, customers, and receptacles. The assignment also includes processing Canada Post products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Sort, collect, and deliver mail items safely
Maintain knowledge of local roads and delivery receptacles
Secure mail while it remains in your possession
Process Change of Address and Damaged Mail items
Wear visible Canada Post identification during deliveries
Requirements:
Valid permanent provincial Class 5 or G driver’s license
Satisfactory safe driving record and required driver’s abstract
Experience delivering and operating vehicles in varied conditions
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Vehicle meeting Canada Post cargo and equipment requirements
Support Canada Post customers through organized rural delivery, safe vehicle operation, and reliable mail handling in Goderich, Ontario.
