Forklift Operator Order Checker
RONA
Forklift operation and order accuracy define this RONA distribution center position. Support receiving, loading, handling, and customer service through careful, safe work.
As a skilled forklift operator, you will load, unload, and store products according to standards. You will inspect equipment, loads, and products, then prepare and assemble orders accurately. The position also includes recording returns, stock adjustments, and following up with managers about order timing. RONA’s RONA+, RONA, and Dick’s Lumber banners serve DIYers and contractors through complementary store formats.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts for receiving, loading, unloading, and product storage
Inspect equipment, loads, and products for compliance
Prepare and assemble accurate customer orders
Maintain clean, safe warehouse and yard areas
Record returns and stock adjustments in the system
Requirements:
Ability to read and understand purchase orders
Ability to follow up with managers on order accuracy
Ability to identify quantity discrepancies before delivery
Detail-oriented approach with strong attention to accuracy
Ability to collaborate using SMART customer service principles
