In this role, you will collaborate with Project Executives and Managers to support estimating and pre-construction activities. Your work will involve developing project scopes, executing detailed quantity take-offs, and coordinating tendering activities to ensure accuracy. Your expertise in value engineering and construction methods will guide project timelines and durability improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop estimates, budgets, and schedules for various projects
• Review drawings and perform quantity take-offs for all project work
• Obtain and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers
• Prepare detailed tender packages for project review
• Provide value engineering recommendations for cost improvements
Requirements:
• 5+ years in construction estimating, particularly multi-unit residential
• Experience with mid-rise and high-rise residential projects
• Strong understanding of construction methods and cost analysis
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software
• Post-secondary education in Construction Management preferred
