Receiving Associates at The Home Depot unload merchandise, verify shipments, and use powered lift equipment while supporting accurate store operations.
This role works within a team to unload carrier deliveries, check quantity and quality, and enter incoming merchandise information into store systems. Associates use tools such as First Phone, follow receiving procedures, and may pick orders through the Order Fulfillment Application. The position also supports customer needs by identifying products, locations, and vendor information.
Key Responsibilities:

Unload inbound freight using designated equipment
Compare shipping documents with purchase orders
Count cartons and record merchandise receipts
Stock merchandise and maintain organized receiving areas
Approach customers and determine project needs
Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year of receiving experience
Powered lift equipment licensing required
Strong attention to detail and procedural learning
Previous forklift experience considered an asset
