Drive commercial routes for Ryder in Woodstock, Ontario, using safe vehicle operation and accurate records across scheduled shifts. Full-time permanent employment pays $28.50 hourly.
The Commercial Driver operates a commercial motor vehicle between pickup and destination terminals. This Ryder position covers days, afternoons, and nights from Sunday through Saturday. Drivers ensure trips run safely, efficiently, and according to company and DOT regulations. The work supports freight movement while maintaining required compliance and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive commercial vehicles between pickup and destination terminals
Follow applicable laws, regulations, policies, and agency standards
Detect and minimize safety hazards during assigned trips
Maintain accurate driving records and logs
Load and unload freight when required
Requirements:
Valid Commercial Driver's License with air brake endorsement
At least nine months verifiable commercial driving experience
No more than one recent moving violation or accident
Ability to follow written and oral instructions
High school diploma or GED preferred
Bring commercial driving experience, regulatory awareness, and safety focus to Ryder’s Woodstock transportation operation across rotating shifts.
