Electrification Protection Control Intern

Build rail electrification experience with Siemens Mobility in a 12-month placement, applying logical thinking and problem-solving skills in York.
As an Electrification Intern, you will work with the Protection and Control Team within Siemens Mobility Rail Infrastructure. The placement provides hands-on industry experience through real projects involving electric transport and digital substation solutions. You will develop business skills, take part in professional training, receive coaching support, and build relationships across the business. The team develops protection and control schemes for major UK electrification projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply education and experience to challenging project situations
Work toward effective outcomes for projects and customers
Learn through real electrification projects and development activities
Participate in professional skills training and coaching
Collaborate with colleagues across the business
Requirements:
Achieved or pursuing a 2:2 degree or above
Think logically and research independently
