Lead complex business analysis for Canada Life as an IT Business Systems Analyst, applying requirements gathering and solution design expertise. This permanent full-time position supports project, product, and operations teams.
The IT Business Systems Analyst applies advanced knowledge to complex work and leads solution implementation. You will analyze business problems, document requirements, and translate needs into functional and non-functional specifications. The work includes application development, support, configuration, testing, and collaboration across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, analyze, and document business requirements, needs, and features
Define functional analysis and detailed business requirements
Write functional specifications and user stories for system changes
Create testing use cases and maintain requirements traceability
Support upgrades, maintenance, training, and end users
Requirements:
Degree in a related discipline or equivalent training and experience
Minimum five-plus years of business analysis experience
Understanding of business principles and diverse business functions
Knowledge of IT project methodologies, processes, and practices
Requirements documentation, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Bring structured analysis, requirements expertise, and collaborative leadership to complex technology solutions supporting Canada Life business functions.
