Mining Engineering Surveyor Deswik

Apply Deswik, mine design, and precision survey skills with Agnico Eagle’s Engineering Department at Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. Work a 7/7 schedule.
As Surveyor reporting to the Survey Supervisor, you will provide reference tools and accurate data for mine operations. The position covers development lines, level plans, drill and blast surveys, stockpile measurements, cavity monitoring, and survey control. You will help maintain reliable information across underground and surface locations while promoting Agnico Eagle’s Health and Safety Code of Conduct and environmental responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide reference tools for effective, accurate mine operations
Survey drill hole toes and collars for blast design
Perform gyro tests supporting drill and blast activities
Measure ore and concentrate stockpiles bi-monthly
Track equipment calibration, repairs, and survey control accuracy
Requirements:
Survey or Engineering Technical Diploma of two years or greater
Underground operating mine experience of at least two years
Working knowledge of Deswik, AutoCAD, or Promine
Knowledge of total station setting and survey equipment calibration
Accuracy, self-management, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure
Bring mine design software knowledge, dependable survey judgment, and technical accuracy to Agnico Eagle’s Macassa Engineering Department.
