Assistant Cafeteria Manager Food Service

Lead school cafeteria food service through safe, efficient meal preparation, service, and sanitation practices while supporting attractive, nutritious student meals.
The Assistant Cafeteria Manager reports to the Cafeteria Manager and works 188 days. This position supervises or participates in receiving, storage, production, service, meal counts, cash collection, sanitation, and inventory. Previous food service experience is required, while school food service and quality food production experience are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Check delivered products against specifications, prices, quantities, and invoices
Store and rotate stock in appropriate areas
Supervise or participate in scheduled menu production
Supervise attractive, portion-controlled food service
Record production, meal count, cash, sanitation, and inventory data
Requirements:
Previous food service experience required
Previous school food service experience preferred
Quality food production experience preferred
Attend the ten-hour Sanitation and Safety Workshop
Frequently lift or move objects weighing 30 to 50 pounds
