Predictive Modeling Actuarial Analyst

Build predictive modelling expertise as an Actuarial Analyst with Westland Insurance Group Ltd in a hybrid Head Office role in Surrey, BC.
This position combines actuarial analysis, data transformation, reporting, and model enhancement for insurance pricing strategies. You will collaborate with actuaries, analysts, engineers, and business partners. Your work supports pricing, retention, conversion, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and enhance predictive models
Transform data from multiple sources for analysis
Maintain pricing reports, dashboards, and visualizations
Improve pricing processes with cross-functional teams
Present actionable recommendations to stakeholders
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in actuarial or another quantitative discipline
Active pursuit of CAS or SOA actuarial designation
Minimum two years of relevant analytical experience
Working knowledge of SQL, Python, and/or R
Attention to detail and commitment to accurate work
Develop actuarial, technical, and analytical expertise while supporting predictive models and pricing decisions at Westland.
