Teach Bachelor of Science Nursing students as a part-time clinical instructor at Sheridan, using nursing expertise and student assessment skills. Clinical placement experiences support practical and theoretical learning.
This instructor delivers curriculum in classroom or online settings while overseeing students across clinical placements. The position includes tutoring, academic counselling, learning-outcome development, and assessment design. Instruction may incorporate individualized strategies, multimedia presentations, and applicable technology.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver course curriculum in classroom and online settings
Teach and oversee clinical placement experiences
Tutor students and provide academic counselling
Evaluate student progress, achievement, and assigned coursework
Design assessment strategies and tools for learning outcomes
Requirements:

Master of Nursing degree or equivalent
Current unrestricted RN membership with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Minimum five years of related professional experience
Advanced knowledge in at least one listed nursing area
Post-secondary teaching or healthcare training experience
Bring nursing knowledge, clinical instruction, communication, and assessment expertise to Sheridan’s Bachelor of Science Nursing Program.
