Lead functional, performance, and automated testing for embedded IP phones across Linux and Android platforms as an individual contributor. Work within Themesoft Inc's SQA team.
This Test Engineer supports Themesoft Inc's IP phone portfolio through comprehensive testing strategies. The work includes technical feature discussions, test coverage, functional testing, automation, and agile software releases. You will investigate requirements, customer issues, and escalations while collaborating with development and product management.
Key Responsibilities:

Design test coverage from technical feature specifications
Perform functional testing and automate selected features
Develop test cases from requirements and customer issues
Analyze network setups involving switches, routers, and call platforms
Review code and test cases, then file defects
Requirements:

Three to five years testing Voice or Video IP products
Experience with SIP, H323, SDP, RTP, TCP, and UDP
Knowledge of Android telephony applications and embedded device testing
Understanding of Agile methodology and IP call servers
Automation knowledge using REST APIs, Java, PERL, or Python
Apply embedded testing expertise, networking knowledge, and automation skills to improve Themesoft Inc's Linux and Android IP phone quality.
