This full-time Manufacturing Shift Supervisor position oversees employee coordination and functional and disciplinary management. You will organize shift tasks, preserve accurate shift-related information, and respond to workplace matters. The position also supports production improvements by recording and addressing wastage and organizational opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate shift changes and daily production activities
Assign employees using the qualification matrix
Maintain shift information within shop floor management
Record wastage and pursue potential production improvements
Ensure workplace instructions and regulations are followed
Requirements:
Capability to manage employees functionally and disciplinarily
Ability to provide initial occupational safety instruction
Ability to train and instruct production employees
Ability to address workplace accidents appropriately
Ability to enforce break, smoking, alcohol, and sick-reporting rules
Support ElringKlinger manufacturing operations with disciplined shift coordination, production improvement, employee training, and safety compliance.
