Registered Early Childhood Educator Timmins
YMCA of Northeastern Ontario
Support children’s safety and development as a Registered Early Childhood Educator with the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario in Timmins. Bring play-based programming and professional care to supply assignments.
This supply position serves various YMCA locations throughout Timmins and the surrounding area. You will supervise children, deliver YMCA curricula, document development, and communicate with families and community partners. The work includes health, safety, inclusion, and accurate attendance responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate supervision supporting children’s health and well-being
Plan educational programming using YMCA curricula
Document development and communicate with families
Conduct safety scans and sanitize equipment
Complete attendance, incident, and development documentation
Requirements:
Early Childhood Education diploma from a two- or three-year program
College membership in good standing
At least two years working with children or youth
Current Standard First Aid and Infant and Child CPR Level C
Current satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check
