Lone Tree Inc. | Lethbridge, AB | Permanent, 30 to 40 hours per week (flexible)

Pay: $33.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on experience

About the role
Lone Tree Inc. is a Lethbridge-based family enterprise with a small, close-knit team that handles a wide range of work under one roof: accounting, HR, IT, marketing and real estate administration. We're looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Administrator to work directly with our CEO and keep the business running smoothly.

This is a senior role. You'll own the books, lead how our office systems and processes work, and support the CEO on strategic planning. If you've run an office before and want a job where your judgment is trusted and your work is visible, this is it.

What you'll do
Accounting and financial administration

Oversee full-cycle accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing, collections, vendor payments and reconciliations.

Lead month-end and year-end processes and prepare financial reports for the CEO.

Review the accuracy of transactions processed by team.

Strategy and CEO support

Support the CEO in completing the annual strategic plan and each division's annual objectives, including KPI tracking (Scaling Up methodology).

Build and maintain the corporate calendar for the Board, CEO, corporate functions and divisions.

Prepare materials for the Board and investors, and keep the investor portal up to date.

Systems, technology and process improvement

Lead improvement projects: standardize tools, automate recurring reports and simplify administrative processes.

Manage the SharePoint site and company websites, and coordinate IT support with outside providers.

Write and maintain process and procedure manuals for each functional area.

HR administration

Keep HR policies and records current.

Run the quarterly performance review and STIP processes on schedule, and help managers handle HR tasks on their own.

Leadership

Build strong working relationships with management, staff, vendors, investors and community partners.

Requirements
What you bring

At least 5 years of senior administrative, office management or executive support experience.

Full-cycle bookkeeping or AR/AP experience, including month-end. A diploma or coursework in accounting or business administration is an asset.

Strong skills in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and accounting software. Experience with Dext, Adobe or website platforms is a bonus.

A track record of improving processes, not just following them.

Experience supervising or guiding other staff.

Sound judgment and discretion with confidential financial, personnel and investor information.

Clear communication with everyone from the CEO and Board to outside vendors.

Why Lone Tree

Growth. Assist the company with long term growth, allowing you to grow with the company.

Direct access to the CEO. Your input shapes real decisions.

Flexibility. 30 to 40 hours a week, with flexibility for the right person.

Variety. Accounting, strategy, systems and people work, all in one role.

A small team where everyone's contribution matters.
